HSBC Amanah Contactless Debit Card
Your HSBC Contactless Visa Debit Card gives you instant access to your money whenever you need it.
You can use your card to pay for goods and services wherever you see the Visa sign.
This includes 29 millions shops, hotels, restaurants and other outlets in the UK, and across over 160 countries.
You can also withdraw cash from over one million cash machines worldwide.
And what's more, overseas cash machine withdrawals made with your HSBC Premier Contactless Debit Card do not incur ATM transaction fees.

Please note, a foreign exchange charge of 2.75% will still apply to any transaction that is processed in a foreign currency, plus an ATM Withdrawal fee – currently 2% (minimum £1.75, maximum £5.00).

The HSBC Visa Debit Card now comes with Contactless technology.
Contactless allows you to make low value payments (currently up to £15 but increasing to £20 from 01 June 2012) with a simple tap of your card, just look for the Contactless logo at a retailer.
When you receive your Contactless Card we will include further information on how to use it along with a number of exciting retail offers.

Plus you can make one-off payments to friends and family, either online or over the phone.

It's also now easier to log on to your Internet Banking from an iPhone or Android phone with our Mobile View service.
Telephone Banking
Get a balance enquiry, make credit card payments (if you have one), obtain transaction details and transfer cash between accounts at any time, day or night.
And if you have a query, our Customer Service Representatives are available on 08457 404 404 from 8am to 10pm every day.
Calls may be monitored and/or recorded.
Switching Service
We can automatically transfer your existing Direct Debits and standing orders to your new HSBC current account.
We also guarantee that you'll receive your HSBC Amanah Debit Card and chequebook (if you requested one) within five working days and your PIN within seven - if you don't, we'll give you £10.
Please note:
- We rely on the organisations you pay by Direct Debits to change their records and respond in a timely manner to our requests.
- We also rely on your previous bank or building society to respond within agreed timescales.
- Your employer/pension provider is responsible for changing their records (following your advice) and paying your salary or pension into your new account.
- Your old bank should, within a reasonable time, refund any charges or interest that you had to pay to the old bank due to a delay or mistake made during the switching process.
- If you wish to switch your savings to HSBC, simply open a savings account with us and then transfer the balance from your original savings provider.
