Currencies

Costs and charges

We’ll give you full details of our charges and international current account rates before you open your account. The information below should give you an idea of what to expect.

US dollar current accounts:

  • Monthly fee: £5 or US dollar equivalent.
  • Debit interest is payable in June and December.

One Europe current accounts:

  • Monthly fee: £5 or Euro equivalent.
  • Debit interest is payable in March, June, September and December.

World Currency current accounts:

  • Monthly fee: £5 or currency equivalent.
  • Debit interest is payable in June and December.

Other information

  • For cheques paid in to International Personal Accounts charges start from £4 per item.
  • Overdrafts will be charged at 7% over the appropriate currency base rate.
    Representative example (assumed overdraft of £1,200): 7% EAR variable above the currency base rate.
  • For foreign currency payments into your account, a charge may be deducted from your account. This includes payments in the currency of your Foreign Currency / International Personal Account.
 

Telephone banking

Get a balance enquiry, make credit card payments, obtain transaction details and transfer cash between accounts with 24 hour banking service. Our telephone banking service is subject to planned maintenance periods our automated telephone banking service is available 24/7 and Customer Service Representatives are available on 08457 404 404 from 8am to 10pm every day. Calls may be monitored and/or recorded.

There is no minimum balance for this account.
 

Account statements

Your statements will be delivered every 3 months.
