HSBC Passport has an initial fixed term of six months and is renewable monthly afterwards. HSBC Passport currently has an £8 per month fee.

Apply in branch

To apply in branch bring one form of identification and one non-UK address verification to your local branch when you arrive in the UK to confirm who you are and where you've come from.

Eligibility requirements

Please ensure you can answer YES to the following questions:

  • Are you 16 years or over?
  • Do you live in the UK; have the intention to move to the UK within the next three months or moved to the UK in the last 12 months?

Once you've submitted your application, we ask you to come into your local branch with your documents so we can verify your address and confirm your identity.
