Accidental death benefit Yes, free cover up to a maximum of £250,000.
Level term (pays a fixed amount throughout the term) Yes
Decreasing cover Yes, available in branch
Minimum and maximum sum assured Minimum £5k, maximum £1m
(Maximum £249,999 online)
Minimum and maximum term Minimum: 5 years, Maximum: End of chosen term or age 70  years (which ever comes first)

What's not covered?

As with all insurance policies, Terms & Conditions, exclusions and limitations will apply.

For life cover we will not usually cover you for Suicide, AIDs related claims or if you die due to a pre-exisiting condition that you have not disclosed to us.

  • Any claim under TraumaChoice will only be valid for one of the specified conditions first diagnosed 90 days or more after the start of the policy.
  • Policy benefits are currently paid tax free, but may give rise to a liability to Inheritance tax.
