Overdrafts
As a Student Bank Account holder, you can get an interest free overdraft, all Arrangement Fees are waived.
Your maximum interest free entitlement goes up each year you study*2:
– Year 1 up to £1,000
– Year 2 up to £1,250
– Year 3 up to £1,500
– Year 4 up to £1,750
– Year 5 up to £2,000

These transactions are subject to our foreign exchange charge of 2.75%.
We will deduct the payment from your account once we receive details of the payment from the card scheme, at the latest the next working day.

Cash Machines: There is an ATM transaction fee currently 2% (minimum £1.75, maximum £5.00) for withdrawing cash at cash machines overseas.
We will deduct the amount of the transaction fee from your account once we receive details of the payment from the card scheme, at the latest the next working day.
Some cash machine operators may apply a direct charge for withdrawals from their cash machines and this will be advised on screen at the time of withdrawal.
