At The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials:

HSBC customers will again be able to access the HSBC Trade Stand at The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials this year. We'll be serving complimentary tea and coffee; you can keep in touch with the action on screen and make the most of our complimentary papers.

For those of you who can't bear to miss the action for a minute we'll have the HSBC horsebox out on the course serving refreshments, hot or cold, depending on the weather!

Send us your ultimate HSBC FEI Classics™ question for our HSBC Ambassador and 2010 HSBC FEI Classics™ Champion William Fox-Pitt. The five best questions will win one of five pairs of tickets and VIP hospitality to the final day of the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials on Sunday 2nd September. The winners will meet our Ambassador to ask them their questions in person.

Now in its fifth year, the HSBC FEI Classics™ brings together six of the world's top-level, four-star, horse trials. These six events in five different countries are hotly contested by the very best horses and riders.

Events in the 2011-2012 HSBC FEI Classics Series™ are:

  • Les Etoiles de Pau CCI**** (FRA) - 12-16 October 2011
  • Australian International 3 Day Event (AUS) - 17-20 November 2011
  • Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials (GBR) (Cancelled due to very wet conditions)
  • Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event (USA) - 25 - 29 April
  • Luhmühlen CCI**** presented by E.ON (GER) - 14- 17 June
  • The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials (GBR) 30 Aug - 2 September

At the centre of all HSBC's sponsorships is a commitment to promoting youth, education and community. HSBC has therefore teamed up with the Pony Club, the world's largest youth organisation, to create the HSBC Pony Club Eventing Training programme, which offers free tuition to all of Britain's Pony Club branches from the very best eventing trainers.

HSBC also offers training bursaries to the winners of each class in the Grassroots Championship at the HSBC FEI Classics™ events. The initiative which started last year aims to involve young riders in prestigious event competition in the early stages of their eventing careers. It adds greatly to the riders experience and HSBC is delighted to be part of this initiative by providing additional support through training bursaries for the BE90 and BE100 winners.
