HSBC Holdings plc together with UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) recently announced the signing of a joint initiative to support UK exporters of all sizes and help them to capitalise on trade opportunities in 2009 and beyond.
The first phase of this initiative is a series of breakfast workshops to be held throughout England aimed specifically at SMEs preparing to or already trading overseas. These interactive events presented by experienced UKTI Trade advisors and HSBC Trade & Treasury specialists will provide advice on the opportunities and challenges in exporting, and help companies understand how to prepare their international strategy and avoid some of the common pitfalls.
