Wide range of currencies

Wherever you're travelling on business or leisure, we've got your global travel money needs covered. HSBC offers a wide range of currencies to order online, by telephone or in branch.

 

Mix and match currencies

If you're travelling to more than one country, you can take advantage of our online facility which lets you order more than one currency at the same time.
 

Commission free

You won't be charged commission when you buy foreign currency.
 

Buy back

When you return from your trip abroad, your local HSBC branch or M&S bureau de change will buy back unused foreign currency commission free. Please note, we only buy back notes in the denominations we sell. We will buy back unused travellers' cheques.
 

Pay by credit or debit card

You can use UK issued HSBC, First Direct or M&S Bank debit or credit cards. If you use a credit card we will charge you a handling fee of 1.5% of your order value (minimum charge £4, maximum charge £15). This amount will be shown in your order summary. We do not charge a handling charge if you pay by debit card.

 

Convenient delivery

We can deliver your travel money to your credit or debit card billing address or you can also choose to collect your money from many of our branches. Delivery times and dates are not guaranteed, but the table below will provide a guide of when we aim to deliver. Alternatively you can choose a specific date up to 10 working days from your order date. Please note that a £3.95 delivery charge applies to all online orders under £250.

(Working day is Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays)
After 2pm Monday to Wednesday By 1pm the second working day
Before 2pm Friday By 1pm Monday (Saturday deliveries are not guaranteed)
After 2pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday By 1pm Tuesday
* Days quoted are working days. If your order falls over a UK public holiday then an additional day(s) will be added. Delivery to certain remote parts of the UK may take up to 3 working days.
