HSBC Online Banking activation

We're currently making improvements to our Online Banking service.

If you registered for Online Banking prior to the 17th December 2014 it's not possible for you to activate your existing Secure Key and you will need to re-start your registration.

If you registered for Online Banking after this date, please log on to Online Banking entering your username, memorable answer and your password, from here you will be prompted to activate your Secure Key.

We apologise for any inconvenience which this delay may cause. Once you are registered, we look forward to introducing you to Online Banking, including the exciting enhancements we're working on now.

With Fast Balance you can check your balance without having to log on

Benefits

  • Once activated, simply swipe the App home screen down to view the balance of your chosen account(s) - no need to log on
  • Integrated into the HSBC Mobile Banking App
  • Fast Balance can be turned on or off quickly and easily
  • Select up to three eligible accounts to be displayed.

Setting up Fast Balance

If you're already using the HSBC Mobile Banking App then you can easily set up Fast Balance service.

  • Open the app and simply swipe down on the home screen to begin the set up process*.
  • You can also set up Fast Balance by selecting the "Fast Balance" under the Settings on the left hand side once you've logged on to the app.

If you're new to HSBC Mobile Banking App:

  1. Download Download the app
  2. Open Open the app and click 'Log on'
  3. Register Click 'Not registered'
  4. Activate Follow the on screen instructions to register and activate your digital secure key
