Our DC Pension Schemes are unit linked. As with any investment related to stocks and shares, the price of units in the fund can go down as well as up. Our Group Stakeholder and Group Personal Pension Schemes are approved by the HM Revenue & Customs under Chapter IV, Part XIV of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act of 1988. These Schemes have been established by separate Deed Polls and are subject to the Scheme Rules. HSBC Life (UK) Limited is the Scheme Administrator. Each member is issued with a policy document which describes the terms and conditions of membership. If you require any further information about these products please ask at your local branch.

Any person who is not a party to these policies has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any condition of these policies but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party which exist or is available apart from the Act. All conditions may be varied in the future in accordance with the Policy Terms and Conditions.

The law of England and Wales applies to our DC Pension Schemes.

All complaints received by HSBC Bank plc concerning this product are handled in accordance with Financial Conduct Authority rules. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint you have the right to refer the matter for independent arbitration to the Financial Ombudsman Service at South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, London E14 9SR (telephone 0845 080 1800). A written copy of our complaint procedure is available on request. A complaint will not prejudice your right to instigate legal proceedings.

Should HSBC Life (UK) Limited become unable to meet its liabilities under the terms of these contracts policyholders may be entitled to compensation under the Policyholders Protection Act 1975. Further details are available on request.
