Proof of your acceptance of an unconditional/conditional offer

Please have your 16-digit UCAS status code to hand.

 

If you don’t have a 16-digit UCAS status code and/or you’re not a first year undergraduate student, you can still apply online, but we may ask you for other proof of your place on an eligible course (see below). It may also take a little longer for us to complete your application.

 

  • Your UCAS AS12 Confirmation Letter. You can access and print this via UCAS Track at https://track.ucas.com/.
    - Letter from a university/college confirming your acceptance of a place on a qualifying course
    - Letter must be addressed to the applicant or HSBC Bank.
    - Letter must be dated within the last six months and on official headed paper
    - Letter sent to you by the university or further education provider by email. This must display the university/further education provider's letterhead and a signature.
  • If you have accepted an offer of an apprenticeship, you can apply in an HSBC branch. You will need to bring with you a letter / contract from your apprentice employer or learning provider confirming your acceptance of an unconditional offer on an apprentice course at level 2 or above.
    - Letter/contract must be addressed to the applicant or HSBC Bank
    - Letter/contract must be dated within the last six months and on official headed paper
    - Letter sent to you by the employer/learning provider by email. This must display the letterhead of the employer/learning provider and a signature.
