            You can withdraw all of the funds and close your account early, but you’ll have to pay a fee which will be the lower of:

            • The interest earned on the account, or
            • A maximum of 90 days' interest

            Credit reference agencies (CRAs) and your personal information

            We may search and share your personal information (for example name, address, date of birth, details of any shared credit, and financial history) and that of your financial associates, with credit reference agencies to process your application, verify your identity and assess your suitability for an account or product. We may also search the Electoral Register and other public sources. If you are providing information about others, it is important that you tell them about this and that they know that a search may be carried out on them.

            In order to assess your application and arrive at a decision, we may perform a credit reference agency search; this will not be visible to other providers and is known as an unrecorded entry search. This will take into consideration three areas; information you provide today, information we already hold about you and information we obtain from external credit reference agencies.

            Fraud prevention information

            The personal information we have collected from you will be shared with fraud prevention agencies who will use it to prevent fraud and money-laundering and to verify your identity. If fraud is detected, you could be refused certain services, finance or employment.
