HSBC Online Banking activation

We're currently making improvements to our Online Banking service.

If you registered for Online Banking prior to the 17th December 2014 it's not possible for you to activate your existing Secure Key and you will need to re-start your registration.

If you registered for Online Banking after this date, please log on to Online Banking entering your username, memorable answer and your password, from here you will be prompted to activate your Secure Key.

We apologise for any inconvenience which this delay may cause. Once you are registered, we look forward to introducing you to Online Banking, including the exciting enhancements we're working on now.

We charge for our Premier Financial Advice service - our fees vary depending on your individual needs and you must have £50,000 or more in investable assets (which do not have to be with HSBC) in order to be eligible. Your adviser will clearly explain our fees upfront and the type of advice we offer in your initial, no-obligation consultation.

Current Account Switch Guarantee

Successfully apply for an HSBC Premier Bank Account between 29 December 2015 and 28 February 2016 and switch using the Current Account Switch Service within 30 days of opening your account and we'll give you £120 within 70 days of your HSBC account being opened.

When you switch to the HSBC Premier Bank Account using the Current Account Switch Service this will need to be done either in branch or by calling our dedicated switching team once your account is opened. Switching using Current Account Switch Service cannot be done online. Find out more

Important Information - £120 when you switch to an HSBC Premier Bank Account

  1. To be eligible for the HSBC Premier Bank Account you must be over 18 and have savings or investments of at least £50,000 with HSBC in the UK; or have an individual annual income of at least £100,000 and one of the following products with HSBC in the UK:
    • a mortgage;
    • an investment, life insurance or protection product;
      or, qualify for HSBC Premier in another country.
  2. £120 switching offer applies to successful applications received between 29 December 2015 and 28 February 2016, limited to one per customer or joint relationship on eligible HSBC Premier Bank Accounts. You must switch using Current Account Switch Service within 30 days of opening your account. To qualify you must not already hold an existing HSBC current account or have held one in the last 6 months. We will make one Offer Payment of £120 within 70 days of your HSBC Premier Bank Account being opened.
  3. We reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time. Offer available to UK residents and residents of the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
