Make a claim in minutes

Before you make a claim - either by phone or online - please make sure you have:

  • your insurance policy number

  • receipts, quotes or invoices

  • an estimate of the size of the affected area

  • photos of damaged or lost property (if you have any)

It only takes 10 minutes to make a claim online. If you file your claim between 08:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday, our insurer - Aviva - will come back to you within 2 hours to progress it.

Make sure you’ve got all your claim details to hand before you begin as you can’t save the form once you’ve started.

If there's been an emergency or if you’d like to make a claim over the phone, call our insurer - Aviva - so they can help you as soon as possible. Lines are open 24/7.

Some examples of emergency situations are:

  • your home is unsecure due to damaged locks, doors or windows

  • there's standing water in your home as a result of flooding

  • there's ongoing dripping or leaking water

  • your home is uninhabitable

  • there's any risk of injury to you or anyone else from hazards like falling masonry or electrocution

Cancelling your home insurance policy

You have a statutory right to cancel your policy within 14 days from the day of purchase or renewal of the policy or the day on which you receive your policy or renewal documentation, whichever is later.
