Step by step guide to registering
1. Download the HSBC UK Mobile Banking app
Once you have downloaded the app select 'Not registered for online banking' on the welcome screen.
2. Verify your identity
Confirm your account details, your date of birth and Telephone Security Number.
3. Set up your log on details
You'll be asked to create your username and log on password.
4. Activate your Secure Key
Follow the on-screen instructions in the mobile app to activate your Digital Secure Key.
5. Registration complete
You're all set up and ready to go. You are now able to log onto both our mobile banking app and online banking.
6. Safety and security
We will never ask for your passwords or your full Telephone Security Number. Features such as biometrics provide an additional layer of safety to keep you and your money safe.
