When will I hear if my loan application has been sucessful?

For online and telephone applications we will provide an instant decision. If we need more time to consider your application we will contact you within two working days

In branch, we will provide a decision during your appointment

How quickly will I get my money?

For online applications if your loan is agreed the money can be in your account the same day

For branch if your loan is agreed the money can be in your account the same day

For telephone applications as soon as we receive your signed paperwork we will transfer the money straight to your account

Can I choose my repayment date?

Yes. We will ask you during the application what your preferred repayment date is. Once the first payment has been made, you can ask us to change your repayment date. Please be aware that this may increase the amount of interest you pay over the term of the loan.

Can I defer payments?

We offer the option to defer your Personal Loan repayment for the first three months

Interest is charged over the full term of the loan, including the deferred period if this option is taken, and any month when a repayment is not made. This means that the amount of interest paid will be higher

The three month repayment holiday must be taken at the start of the loan and can't be offered where more than 70% of the loan is for refinancing existing borrowing

Can I have a payment holiday?

We offer the option to take a repayment holiday every January for the life of the Personal Loan

Interest is charged over the full term of the loan and any month when a repayment is not made. This means that the amount of interest paid will be higher

We do not offer any other options to take a repayment holiday during the loan term
