No HSBC ATM fees abroad

Not only can you withdraw cash from over a million cash machines worldwide with HSBC Advance Visa Debit Card. What's more, overseas cash machine withdrawals made with your HSBC Advance Visa Debit Card do not incur ATM transaction fees from HSBC. Please note, a foreign transaction charge of 2.75% will still apply to any transaction you make abroad.

Emergency cash abroad

As an HSBC Advance customer, if you lose your cards or money while you're abroad, you can get emergency cash at any of our 7,000 plus global branches worldwide, subject to HSBC authorisation. Simply identify yourself as an HSBC Advance customer to the team at your nearest branch and they will contact us here in the UK to authorise your money transfer. As an HSBC Advance customer you will not incur any fees for this service.

Global View with discounted money transfers

Whether moving overseas, or simply travelling for business or pleasure. HSBC Advance offers globally linked-up banking services in over 30 countries around the world. Simple and convenient, you can make Global Transfers from your UK HSBC accounts for a fee of £5 per transaction, which is lower than fees for other types of international payments available to you as an HSBC Advance Bank customer.

Global View and Global Transfers are not available in all countries. Before you can make a Global Transfer your accounts will need to be linked. Foreign currency exchange rates may apply.
