0% on balance transfers for 15 months
Looking to reduce the amount of interest you're paying on other credit and store cards? With the HSBC Bank Credit Card new cardholders get 0% interest on balance transfers for 15 months. A 2.9% balance transfer fee (minimum £5) applies.
Requests for a Balance Transfer received by us after 3.30 pm (or received on a non-working day) will be treated as if they were received the next working day. It can take up to 3 working days, from the day of receipt by first direct, for the money to reach your other credit or store card provider, written requests can take up to 4 working days.
At the end of the 15 month promotional period Balance Transfers will revert to the standard variable rate - typical 16.9% APR variable.
How to transfer your balance
If you're already an Internet Banking customer, log on and select 'Balance transfers' from the left hand menu when you're viewing your credit card details.
