HSBC Online Banking activation

We're currently making improvements to our Online Banking service.

If you registered for Online Banking prior to the 17th December 2014 it's not possible for you to activate your existing Secure Key and you will need to re-start your registration.

If you registered for Online Banking after this date, please log on to Online Banking entering your username, memorable answer and your password, from here you will be prompted to activate your Secure Key.

We apologise for any inconvenience which this delay may cause. Once you are registered, we look forward to introducing you to Online Banking, including the exciting enhancements we're working on now.

We've launched HSBC Voice ID making using telephone banking easier and even safer. HSBC Voice ID, will allow you to access telephone banking without needing to remember your security number. And it's more secure than ever, because your voice will be your password. Find out more

Before you can access the HSBC telephone banking service you'll need to set up a security number. You only need to do it once and then all you have to do is enter your account details, date of birth and digits from your security number each time you call to ensure your accounts are kept safe. Call us to set up your security number, a six to ten digit number chosen by you. Please have your sort code and account number handy when you call. To set up your security number please call 03457 400 004, HSBC Premier customers please call 08456 045 292.
