You can chat to us through Chat, Apple Messages or Google Business Messages.
Mobile banking app
You can chat to us on the HSBC Mobile Banking app quickly and easily. Here's how:
- Log on to mobile banking in the app.
- Select the 'Support' tab.
- Select 'Chat with us'.
Chat
To start a chat with one of our agents:
- Log on to online banking.
- Select the Chat tab to the right of the page.
If you're not yet registered for online banking, find out how to register.
Apple Messages and Google Business Messages
You can get answers to general questions through Apple Messages or Google Business Messages. Just use the Messages app on any Apple or Android device that enable these services. Find the app in Safari (Apple only), Maps or Search, then tap the Messages icon to send us a message.

Alternatively, you can visit us in branch to speak to us in person. To find your nearest branch, use our handy branch locator.
Call us
Our contact centres are extremely busy at the moment, please don’t call us unless it’s urgent. See our help and support pages for guidance and to find out what you can do through online and mobile banking.
So that we can get you through to the right person as quickly as possible, we have different phone numbers to call depending on where you're based and whether you already bank with us.

How we contact you
We love being able to keep you updated with important news and exciting offers. We can do this by email, over the phone or even by post.
However, we want to make sure that you only hear from us in a way that suits you. So please tell us what's best for you by logging on to online banking, giving us a call or visiting your local branch.
Please note: we won't use WhatsApp to get in touch - so be wary of any fake accounts pretending to be HSBC.
